The piece is a symphonic waltz for wind band and was composed in 2016. The difficulty level is 2.5 and the duration is approximately 7:10 min.

Flywheel was premiered on November 4th in 2017 with the Stadtmusikkapelle Waidhofen/Ybbs.

Flywheel is on the self-voting list of the Upper Austrian Wind Music Association and can be played in performance level B in concert ratings.
